J-Lag Screw Male Hinges are commonly used in conjunction with Female Strap Hinges to hang gates. Typically two hinges are required per gate; use three hinges on larger gates. J-Lag Screw male hinges are designed to be used with wood posts. Simply drill a pilot hole in your post and tighten in place with a wrench. These J-Lag Screw Hinges are also handy to fix gates which don't fit perfectly since they are adjustable for a perfect fit. Use this fitting with any of the female hinges. 5/8" Pin.
